Poetry

I don’t write a lot of poetry—in fact prior to National Poetry Writing Month I had only posted one poem on here.  I have several in my book, and have included one of those here.  I won’t give descriptions to these poems below, because they’re pretty short, and and a definitive interpretation may take some of the meaning away from them.

From National Poetry Writing Month (#napowrimo):

Before Yours
Drowning
Fresh Cut Grass
I Haul
Pumping
Rejection
Sunday Morning Drive
Tiny Fists, Tiny Feet

From Everything I’ve Got:

They Could Be Greener
